Engaged Encounter focuses on communication in your relationship. You will learn new tools for listening, writing and enriching your communication with each other.
You will explore your mutual strengths and weaknesses as you listen to presentations and work through exercises as a couple. Topics cover the "ups and downs" of romance; disagreements; expectations and attitudes concerning careers, family life and children, money and sex; the church and society.
The primary emphasis is on your communication as a couple, though some opportunity is provided for interaction among couples. Specially trained teams facilitate and guide the weekend. Their presentations include personal sharing of experiences in their marriages and family lives, and help promote your own voyage of discovery.
